Garimarine started with an idea of Paolo Lo Bianco and Alessandro Ghidini. Their aim is to create a company offering the nautical sector an instantly recognizable exclusive product of distinctive design with a strong identity and state-of -the-art technology. These are the principles behind Gari 70, an open coupè boat which boasts perfect aesthetic balance, luxury finish, and a wealth of incredible detail. Unique of its kind, with its strong personality, it’s able to excite even the most discerning seeker of class. Gari 70 has been designed to meet the needs of the ship owner who loves navigating under all sea conditions, infact numerous tests to study water lines, made in a model basin, have made comfort under rough sea.
Gari 70 can be distinguished for its silent performance: one of Garimarine’s main concerns was to reduce noise to a maximum during navigation so that it will be totally noiseless. Garimarine reached a solution by using an integrated system of ceramic exhaust systems all in accordance with present legislation, and the use of sound absorbers used in aeronautic systems. It is constructed by the pre-preg technology entirely from epoxy resin reinforced with fibreglass and carbon, every single part of the composite is realised in vacuum sandwich with reinforcements, which have been produced with pre-impregnated material, and fixed with structural bonds used in aerospace. The composite is then post-cured at 90° in a specially constructed oven. Only in this way can Gari 70achieve its elevated mechanical characteristics, incomparable with anything produced through polyester resins or vinylester with wet or infusion systems. Aesthetically, Gari 70 presents modern, essential solutions which are absolutely against the current trend, if compared to what has been made in the nautical sector of luxury motor yachts to date. The stern presents the original feature of a built-in stern platform so that the lateral profile of the boat is not spoilt.
Gari 70 has got a spacious walk around, a typical element of larger yachts; this is protected by a generously sized composite bulwark, which protects people on board, but, at the same time, doesn’t alter the lateral profile of the boat, and gives Gari 70 an elegant and aggressive line. Inserted into the width of the bulwarks there are also disappearing mooring bitts to use when hooking on bumpers. At the bow, on the deckhouse there’s another sunbathing area which can accommodate four people comfortably, while on the side of the deckhouse, large forepeak can contain ropes and bumpers for mooring. The internal lay-out offers two possible solutions for 3 or 4 cabins. The internal design is of clearly minimal style; the objective was to design a rigorous, minimalist vessel which is amazing in its simplicity and yet exciting.
Gari70 is certainly the most innovative and technologically advanced motor boat produced in Italy ever since
